Corporal Punishment in the Children Upbringing (1850-1914)

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tělesným trestům ve výchově dětí jak v rodině, tak ve škole od druhé poloviny devatenáctého století do 1. světové války na základě memoárové literatury. Zároveň také obsahuje analýzu výchovných příruček pedagogů té doby. Dále bakalářská práce nabízí stručný náhled na pozici dítěte ve společnosti v období od starověké antiky po 20. století.The Bachelor thesis aims at the corporal punishment in education of children, in families and in schools from the second half of the 19th century untill the First World War on the basis of memoir literature. It also includes an analysis of teacher's educational handbooks at that time. Furthermore the Bachelor thesis offers a brief insight into the position of a child in society from the period of antiquity until the 20th century.Ústav historických věd1.
