Cement production industries alone give out 5 to 8 % of greenhouse gas into the atmosphere globally. Naturally, geopolymer concrete emits very low greenhouse gas compared to ordinary portland cement (OPC). Therefore, geopolymer concrete is greatly ecological and alternative material for OPC.
