Extensive research is currently going on to evaluate geo-polymer in civil engineering application. The project\ud aims at making ecofriendly concrete and increasing the strength of the concrete. Cement, the second most\ud consumed product in the world, 5% – 8% of world’s man made greenhouse gas emission are from the cement\ud industry itself. It is well known that cement production depletes significant amount of natural resources and\ud release of large volume of carbon dioxide. On the other hand, coal burning power plants produce huge quantities\ud of fly ash.
