Iconografia a les llars mercantils del segle XV. Mentalitat, estètica i religiositat dels mercaders a Barcelona

Around XVth century merchants were gathered in Barcelona as a strong social and economic group. Here we analyze a serie of documents (mainly Testaments and Matrimonial writings) in which we can check the presence of some significant medieval works of art. In these works we find a special religious iconography who comes to show us the particular mentality and the aesthetic sensibility expressed by a remarcable number of members belonging this social group. These particularities allow us to describe an original merchants' religious culture towards XVth century in Barcelona. The kernel of this sort of merchants' artistic religiosity comes to confirm, once again, the very strong symbolism of medieval culture and the deep interdisciplinary relation between Art, History and Religion in the Middle Ages in Catalunya.Ven le XV siècle, les commerçants furent réunis à Barcelone en tant que fort group social et èconomic. Nous analysons ic¡ une série de documents (principalment les testataments et les écrits matrirnoniaux) dans lesquels nous pouvons vérifier la présence de certains travaux d'art médiéval. Dans ces oeuvres nous trouvons une spéciale iconographie religiieuse qui reflète la mentalité particulière et la sensibilité aesthetiqueexprimées par le remarquablenombre de membre appartenant à ce group. Ces particularités nous permettent de décrire une originale "Culture Religieuse des Commerçants” vers le XVème siècle à Barcelone. Le fruit de ce type d'art religieux des commerçants, vient confirmer, une fois de plus, le trés fort symbolisme de la culture Médiévale et la profonde relation entre l'Art, l’Histoire et la Religion du Moyen âge en Catalogne
