Around XVth century merchants were gathered in Barcelona as a strong social and economic group. Here we analyze a serie of documents (mainly Testaments and Matrimonial writings) in which we can check the presence of some significant medieval works of art. In these works we find a special religious iconography who comes to show us the particular mentality and the aesthetic sensibility expressed by a remarcable number of members belonging this social group. These particularities allow us to describe an original merchants' religious culture towards XVth century in Barcelona.
