Comparative Study on the Bilingual Teaching in China's Colleges and Universities and the Bilingual Education in Singapore

按照我国教育部加强本科教学改革中实施双语教学思路,比较我国高校双语教学和新加坡双语教育之间的主要差异,并针对我国高校双语教学起步晚、双语环境差、师资资源贫乏、缺乏连贯性、学生外语运用能力低下和几乎空白的双语教育理论研究等不利因素,思考如何把新加坡的先进经验同我国的具体实际相结合,开辟一条符合我国国情的双语教学之路。With a study on the Ministry of Education's idea of carrying out bilingual teaching in the reform of regular college courses,this paper analyses the main differences between the bilingual teaching in China and in Singapore.In dealing with the problems in China's bilingual teaching such as a late start,no good environment,no continuity,not enough teachers and no proper theories for it,this paper holds that we should combine Singapore's experience with our specific conditions to find a way out
