Ph.D.Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and one of the major causes of cancer deaths around the world including Hong Kong. Androgen-depletion therapy (ADT) is the mainstay and also effective therapeutic for PCa, but only initially as many patients will eventually relapse and progress to the advanced, castration-resistant and metastatic stage (CRPC), to which current treatments are few and poorly efficient.
