Add to ORKGThe article presents the analysis of main traditional and innovative aspects of modern Ukrainian folkloristic studies in the context of folkloristic training of folklore philologists at the leading universities in Ukraine. It identifies the most distinguished achievements at the investigation of folklore tradition at Ukrainian university and academic folklore centers in connection with modernization processes in education. It is highlighted that it is important to update the content of philological training at the majority of classical and pedagogical higher educational establishments according to global tendencies of folklore studies development
