In this community study, we successfully investigated where fish live in the East Branch of the Maple River and formed some arguments and hypotheses to understand why they live in particular habitats and communities. Through research and comparisons with other sites, we determined what structures our community and how it is unique. Although we were able to gather a large amount of data and build arguments from them, this study has emphasized to us the complexity of community structure and the extent to which different physical and biotic factors interact to structure a community.http://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/54546/1/2985.pdfDescription of 2985.pdf : Access restricted to on-site users at the U-M Biological Station
