The goal of this thesis is to introduce R as a software tool, the basic theory behind hydrological modelling and hydrological modelling in R itself.\ud The software is freely available, therefore its user base is very wide. In its basic form it is used for statistical and mathematical computing, but with a help of a few add-ons, called packages, it can be a capable tool for hydrological modelling. Because of its open-source nature and wide user base, there are many add-ons available, which enabled its multi-professional usage.\ud The thesis is devised of plural chapters, which introduce the concept of hydrological modelling, theoretical basis of three different hydrological models and the meaning and theory behind criteria of efficency.\ud ...
