Graduation thesis presents theoretical basis for classical hydrograph recession curve analysis which are used to describe the dynamics of discharge recession. \ud The first part of the thesis presents theoretical background on assessing different components of hydrographs. A new method which foresees the extraction of catchment sensitivity function is presented.\ud In the second part of the thesis, New method is applied on rainfall and discharge data from two experimental catchments, the Mačkov graben and Kuzlovec torrents.\ud Our task was to determine the periods of discharge recession for both stream, to get sensitivity function and compare them.
