In this report the basic principles of the Looksteering SAR and the main differences of this specialmode to the conventional stripmap mode were explained. Similar to the Spotlight mode also for the Looksteering mode strong restrictions concerning the selection of possible pulse repetition frequencies arise due to the problem of the timevariant imaging geometry
