Diese Arbeit widmet sich der Untersuchung der elektronischen Eigenschaften und der Oberflächenstruktur des Übergangsmetalloxids MoO2. Das Interesse an MoO2 beruht auf seiner engen strukturellen Verwandtschaft zum kontrovers diskutierten VO2. Mittels winkelaufgelöster Photoemissionsspektroskopie (ARUPS) wurden verschiedene Schnitte durch den Fermikörper von MoO2 und die Banddispersion entlang ausgewählter Hochsymmetrierichtungen vermessen. Ein Vergleich der ARUPS-Ergebnisse mit existierenden LDA-Rechnungen und Shubnikov de Haas-Messungen zeigt eine qualitativ gute Übereinstimmung zwischen Experiment und Theorie.
