ANALYSIS OF POLICE CRISIS STAFFS FOR RESOLVING CRISES

This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The thesis examines the level and preparedness of crisis staffs members of territorial departmens of the Policie Directorate of South Bohemian region, including the Crisis Management Crisis Staff of the Regional Police directorate of South Bohemia. The theoretical part describes the crisis staffs of the territorial departmentsof the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region and the Regional Crisis Staff of South Bohemian police directorate, their composition, mission, tasks and position within the Police of the Czech Republic. In the practical part the consultations with each Commissioner of the local departments crisis management of the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region and with the head of Crisis Management of the Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region were made. Consultations are focused on crisis management and theoretical, material and practical preparedness of the crisis teams. Furthemore, in the practical part results of the questionnaires, which dealt with the composition of police officers in the staffs and their theoretical knowledge of crisis management were processed and evaluated. The most important findings of the research are summarized in the conclusion. There are also evaluated hyphotheses and objectives defined at the beginning of the work and proposed possible solutions the problems in question
