Contemporary development of school contingents and projection of its future changes

Population age structure is influenced by various factors over the time and thus its division becomes variable. Such changes affect society in various ways, inconsistent demand for social services is one of them. Typical example of such service is education system. Paper analyzes size of school contingents, as population in specific age interval reflecting usual age of students is called. Analysis is set up for population of Czech Republic and uses both data reflecting past, present and future periods. Data for future are derived from population projection which is also an essential part of the paper. In the end conclusion of changes and their significance for both present and future is stated
