The influence of marketing communication in eating disorders

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the influence of marketing communication in eating disorders. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part deals with body image, ideal of beauty, eating disorders, marketing communication and communication mix. The second practical part consists of a questionnaire, an interview with a medical doctor and content analysis of stories from patients. The aim is to determine whether there is any influence of marketing communication to the emergency of the first symptoms of anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa.
