This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of corporate cultures that are present in some of the Japanese companies found in the Czech Republic. The thesis is imaginarily divided into two parts. In the theoretical part the reader becomes familiar with the terms such as culture, corporate and organisational culture. It is largely influenced by a piece of work of Geert Hofstede and his perception of individual cultural dimensions. Moreover, it pays attention to the necessity of organisation within the company and to the description of characteristic features of the Japanese corporate culture and human resource management.
