Urbanonyms in the city of Mnichovo Hradiště

This diploma thesis deals with urbanonyms (place-names) in town Mnichovo Hadiště. Our task is a list of names of streetsin the historic heart of town, names of adjacent streets and streets of the newerneighborhoods. We follow the evolution of naming streets after the first third of the 20th century to the present. Street names sorted in terms of sociolinguistic. Particularattention is given to the honores theme and its variations during the historicaldevelopment. The work is supplemented by alphabetical index of street names.
