The Problems of Interpretation of the Songs making Mikulas Schneider - Trnavsky

This thesis deals with the interpretation of the songs composed by the Slovak composer Mikuláš Schneider - Trnavsky. It summarizes important information, analysis and semantic interpretations, under which the reader has an insight into these songs. The objective of this thesis is to highlight the aspects leading to their proper interpretation concept. The methology of the research is based on the collection of theoretical knowledge of the composer in guestion, how the composer was included in his generation context and stylistic features of his vocal works. However, at the core of this work is musical, semantic and interpretative analysis of individual songs from the cycle Tears and Smiles ( Slzy a úsmevy). On the basis of this analysis ultimately refers to the specific interpretative nuances of Trnavsky´s "artificial" songs, with which must the artist, while maintaining the purity of style, cope
