Restoring the Prague Jewish community since 1989

The theme of this bachelor thesis is present life in the Prague Jewish community. The concept of this work is to provide a comprehensive picture of the development of the Prague Jewish community after the Velvet Revolution. In the first part is briefly de-scribed information on events relevant to Jewish population after the World War II and during communist regime by the year 1989. In the following chapters are described the development and renewal of the Prague Jewish community after year 1989. These chap-ters are devoted to the structure of activities of the Jewish community in Prague, further the structure of Lauder schools, kosher food, the Federation of Jewish communities and its affiliated organizations. There were also mentioned the Jewish Museum and Jewish monuments such as synagogues
