This project is about storytelling. It explores the potential of narrative by applying Jean Paul Sartre’s notion of Bad Faith (1969) to an animated short film. The work employs a linear narrative that is played out inside a distinctive renegotiation of a culturally hybridised urban environment. Thus, the stories world is a liminal space (Kim, 2010), between the photographically ‘real’ and the imagined. The project uses painting, photography, and animation in a highly distinctive manner.
