THE UTILIZATION OF DUCKWEED (Lemna minor) MEAL IN RATION ON LEVEL CHOLESTROL OF BROILER CHICKENS Ibnu Bima Putra (11481102615) Under the guidance of Edi Erwan and Arsyadi Ali ABSTRACT Duckweed (Lemna minor) is a water weeds contain the potential to be used as feed ingredients of fowls, however the utilization of it doesn’t optimal The aims of this research is to know the influences of using duckweed meal (Tepung Duckweed: TD) in ration on the levels of cholestrol, trigliserida, HDL (High Density Lipoprotein), LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) broiler chickens. This research conducted on June to July 2018 at UIN Agriculture and Development Station (UARDS), Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The experimental animal were broiler from DOC until 35 day old which kept in 20 cages and each cage of 4 broilers chickhen. This research used a Completely randomized Design (CRD) by 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment consisted of TO (ration is 0 % of TD), T1 (ration is 1.5% of TD) and T3 (ration is 4.5 % of TD). The parameters observed were blood cholestrol, Trigliserida, HDL, and LDL.The result of this study showed the utilization of duckweed in ration had a significant (P
