PENGEMBANGAN SUPPLEMENTARY BOOK OF GREEN CONSUMERISM (SBGC) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS DAN PRO-ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR SISWA

Pembelajaran lingkungan berkaitan dengan permasalahan lingkungan seperti green consumerism masih sangat sedikit diajarkan di sekolah. Siswa memerlukan kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) untuk memecahkan masalah lingkungan. Selain kemampuan kognitif, siswa juga perlu menerapkannya dalam bentuk pro-environmental behavior (PEB). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk Supplementary Book of Green Consumerism (SBGC) berbasis android untuk siswa SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunkaan adalah research and development sesuai dengan yang diutarakan oleh Borg and Gall. Ahli yang dilibatkan yaitu sebanyak 3 orang ahli media, 3 orang ahli materi, dan 3 orang guru. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukkan bahwa SBGC memiliki kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan. Hasil uji efektivitas yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa SBGC efektif meningkatkan HOTS dan berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Sementara itu untuk PEB, mengalami peningkatan namun tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dikarenakan perubahan kognitif siswa dapat terjadi dengan waktu relative lebih cepat. Sementara itu, untuk merubah perilaku memerlukan waktu yang lebih lama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa SBGC layak digunakan dan efektif meningkatkan HOTS dan PEB siswa SMP pada kelas eksperimen secara signifikan, namun pada PEB tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol ****************** Environmental learning related to current environmental problemsuch as green consumerism is still very little taught in schools. Meanwhile for pro-environmental behavior, it has increased but not significantly different from the control class. This wasbecause cognitive changes in students can occur with a relatively faster time. Meanwhile, changing behavior requires more time. The conclusion of this study wasthat the SBGC suitableand effective in increasing HOTS and PEB for junior high school students, however PEB is not significantly different from the control class
