ABSTRAK Influence of salinity (NaCI) to plant growth of Amaranthus paniculatus L. was studied. Treatments were carriied out on NaCI solution with concentrations of 0 (control), 500, 1000, 1500 and 3000 ppm. The treatments of 500, 1000 and 1500 ppm. increased plant height, leaves number per plant and dry weight per plant significantly. By treatment of 3000 ppm., number of mortality plants increased significantly. There was no difference of flowering times, even by treatment of 3000 ppm, Mechanism of their metabolism was discussed.
