ABSTRACT Background: Sectio caesarean is one of choices for pregnant mother for her baby birth. The procedure of section caesarean has duration between 30-60 minutes. The procedure of section caesarean may induce moderate-severe pain in the surgical incision. This occurs because of the injury and the onset of inflammatory processes that secrete pain mediators, thus inducing pain. It must take the right analgesia choice. Research Purpose: This study was aimed at determining the value of Visual Analog Scale (VAS) on the use of analgesic in post-cesarean patients in RSUD Kendari.
