Lymphoma is a neoplasm of hematopoietic origin formed by lymphoid cells that can reach all tissues of the body. It is the most commonly reported cancer in domestic cats and it’s becoming increasingly common in the routine of veterinary medicine. However, its diagnosis becomes a challenge once the indicators presented are non-specific and reflexes of the concomitant diseases. Thus, the diagnosis turns out to be late when the patient is already at an advanced stage of the disease. However, it implies limitation on treatment protocols and the prognosis tends to be not favorable.
