PENGARUH PIJAT OKSITOKSIN DAN OKETANI TERHADAP PRODUKSIASI PADA IBU POST SECTIO CAESARIADI RSUD AMBARAWA

In 2016, the incidence of infants with post-sectio caesarea who suffered fromdehydration and fever is 20 infants/month and the infants who get phototherapy due toyellow is 15 infants/month. This caused by the breast-milk production of motherswith post-sectio caesarea has not come out. At the maternity ward of RSUDAmbarawa, mothers with post-SC H.0 still fasting because has not flatus, while theinfant has started get total rooming-in with mother although breast milk has not comeout. This condition makes the infant dehydrated, fever and hyperbillirubin. This studyaims to analyze the differences in milk production on the mothers with post sectiocaesarea who administered by oxytocin massage, oketani method, and breast-care atRSUD Ambarawa.This was a quasi-experimental study with post-test only control group design.The samples in this study were post-partum mothers with sectio caesarea at RSUDAmbarawa that sampled by using accidental sampling with random technique asmany as 30 respondents that divided into three groups (two treatment groups and anintervention group).The results of univariate analysis on the parity indicate that the primipara is50%, multipara is 50%, the age of respondents indicate that 90% have aged 20-35years and 10% respondents have more than 35 years. The bivariate analysis by usingthe Kruskal-Wallis test obtained that the average of breast-milk production byoxytocin massage is 117.30 cc, oketani method is 313 cc, and breast-care is 63.80 cc,(p-value of 0.023) which means that Ho is rejected. There is a significant correlationbetween oxytocin massage, oketani, and breast-care toward the breast-milkproduction on mothers with post-sectio caesarea at RSUD Ambarawa.Although there are many ways to improve the breast-milk production, theoketani massage method is worth to consider because its results has effectivelyproven. The health workers are expected to make intervention by oketani massage andteach it to the family because it proven to improve the breast-milk production in thepostpartum mothers
