The electrochemical method of detection of phases transformations in amalgams during a monotherm electrolysis described in a previous paper [2] has been used for the study of Hg-Tl, Hg-Sn, Hg-Pb and Hg-Zn systems. In Hg-Pb and Hg-Zn systems the crystallization occurs when the saturation molar fraction is attained but metastable liquid phases are observed in Hg-Tl and Hg-Sn alloys. At 25 °C the metastability breakdown takes place at molar fractions 1.4 % and 50 % respectively higher than the equilibrium one showing that there is no relation between the aptitude for obtaining metastable phases and the solubility.On utilise la méthode électrochimique de détection des transformations de phases dans les amalgames au cours d'électrolyse monotherm...
