Il redécrit l'espèce type de ce genre, M. zimmeri (MENZ), d'après le matériel recueilli en Roumanie et discute ses particularités morphologiques en les comparant à celles de Darwinula stevensoni BR. et ROB., D. a ricana brasiliensis, PINTO et Korz. et D. paglioli PINTO et Korz. Il présente aussi, un bref aperçu sur la répartition des darwinulides actuelles et fossiles
