The ν3 + ν±14(E) infrared absorption band, centered around 3 670 cm-1, was analysed under a high resolution (0.006 cm-1) from a monoisotopic sample of CH79 3Br. A least squares calculation taking into account a very small interaction with 2 ν3 + ν±15 + ν±1 6 (E) component and the l (2, 2 ) resonance, was given a standard deviation of 1.8 × 10-3 cm-1 over the 845 assigned lines. Since the study of ν3 + ν4 - ν3 (3 058 cm-1) [1] hot band had already been done at the same resolution, we were able to obtain 159 unperturbed lines QQK( J) belonging to the ν3 fundamental band, the parameters of which were redetermined with a 1.2 × 10-3 cm-1 standard deviation.
