L'objet de cet article est de présenter les différentes caractéristiques acoustiques du Grand Tunnel Hydrodynamique qui est en usage depuis 1987 au Val de Reuil. Une campagne de caractérisation a été entreprise dont les résultats portent sur les points suivants : étude des différents paramètres de fonctionnement du tunnel influant sur les niveaux de bruit de fond : vitesse de l'écoulement, existence de germes de cavitation, pression de fonctionnement ; étude du confinement.
