This is the first modern critical edition (replacing Dindorf's 1855 outdated one) of the Greek exegesis on Homer's Odyssey, from the Alexandrian times down to Byzantine scholarship. With the exception of Eustathius' Parekbolai (the only work that has an independent tradition), it has the ambition to encompass the whole of Greek scholarship on the Odyssey, including the so-called D-scholia and the extant fragments of Porphyry's Homeric Questions. Since most of the manuscripts have been collated for the first time, a large amount of the exegetical material presented here is new.
