EDEMA SEREBRI SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR MORTALITAS PADA PERDARAHAN INTRASEREBRAL AKUT

Background. Most of thr death in hemorrhagic stroke occurred in acute phase. Mortality rate within 7 days of onset in 31%. There are many factor that influence mortality one of them is cerebral odema (perihaetomal efema) which progress following intracerebral haemorrhage and culminates in a few days. Cerebral edema formation will increase intracranial pressure anda leadas to herniation. There is still much controversy in the term of perihaematomal edema asa a cause of neurologis deterioration and the further research needed. Methods. We used cohort prospective study. Thr subjects in this study were patients hospitalized in stroke unit and neurologic ward from December 2011 intil July 2012, and diagnosed ad intracerebral haemorrhage that match inclusion criterian. We analysed our unvariate date using chi-square and t-test followed by regression logistic for multivariate analysis. The Kaplan �Meier are used for survical analysis. Result.
