This research is a normative legal research. It aims to find out the effectiveness level of the role of industrial relations mediator in the settlement of industrial relations disputes in Yogyakarta City It analyzed factors that have influenced the effectiveness of the mediator's role in to settlement of that kind of disputes. The research demonstrates that the mediators role in the settlement of industrial relations disputes in Yogyakarta City is like this: 32% is very effective, 58% effective, and 10% not effective.
