Mark Twain was an American author, humorist, journalist, entrepreneur, publisher and lecturer. The town in which he was raised later provided the setting for his most famous novels. He spent a great amount of time among slaves, playing in their quarters and taking part in their spirituals. Twain was a celebrity already during his life, even before than he himself could realize it. He is best known for his pieces - The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. His books provide insight into the past and the events of his personal life demonstrate his role as an eyewitness to history.NeobhájenoMark Twain was an American author, humorist, journalist, entrepreneur, publisher and lecturer.
