Pengaruh Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of learners on mathematics subjects. This study aims to determine the effect of using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to learning outcomes of students' mathematics. This research method is quasi experimental, with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique in this research using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used by the researcher is the instrument of observation and test sheet. Data analysis using simple linear regression formula, and t test. The result of research shows that there is influence of CTL approach to learning result 31,36% while the rest of 68,64% influenced by other factor or variable which not examined. The influence is also indicated by the average value of learning outcomes of learners with a CTL approach of 73.29 higher than the average value of learning outcomes of learners with a conventional approach that is 62.59. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experimental), dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti adalah instrumen lembar observasi dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan CTL terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 31,36% sedangkan sisanya 68,64% dipengaruhi faktor atau variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Adanya pengaruh juga ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik dengan pendekatan CTL sebesar 73,29 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik dengan pendekatan konvensional yaitu 62,59.
