Opportunities and limits of tourism development of the town Tábor

The diploma thesis analyses the current state of tourism in the town Tábor and evaluates the utilization of the potential of the town and the whole region for tourism. In the theoretical part there are at first defined the crucial terms related to the topic of the thesis and after that the importance of tourism in the Czech Republic as well as the potential of tourism in South Bohemia are outlined. The analytical part deals with the analysis of tourism industry in the town Tábor and in the region Táborsko. Another chapter is devoted to the sustainable development of tourism in the town including its involvement in Healthy Cities of the Czech Republic Association and the projects for the tourism development are also mentioned. This is followed by the evaluation of the current level of tourism in Tábor, which is complemented by a SWOT analysis of the town. In conclusion, the author of this thesis provides her suggestions and recommendations.Tato diplomová práce analyzuje současný stav cestovního ruchu města Tábor a zhodnocuje využití potenciálu města a celého regionu pro cestovní ruch. V teoretické části jsou nejprve definovány klíčové pojmy vztahující se k tématice diplomové práce a poté je nastíněn jak význam cestovního ruchu v České republice, tak potenciál cestovního ruchu v Jihočeském kraji. Analytická část práce se zabývá rozborem cestovního ruchu ve městě Tábor a v regionu Táborsko. Další kapitola se věnuje udržitelnému rozvoji cestovního ruchu města včetně jeho zapojení do asociace Národní síť Zdravých měst ČR a také jsou zde zmíněny rozvojové projekty města v oblasti cestovního ruchu. Poté následuje zhodnocení současné úrovně cestovního ruchu Tábora, které je doplněno o SWOT analýzu města. Na závěr autorka práce poskytuje své návrhy a doporučení
