This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of PPP (Public-Private-Partnerships), which is a partnership of public and private sector, and its potentional use in the transport policy in the European Union. The aim of this study is to determine whether this type of partnership is supported by the Union and what the advantages of using partnership in transportation are. First of all, the thesis focuses on the main interpretation of the PPP. Several important terms and characteristics are mentioned in this part. The main principles and objectives are characterised in the second part.
