Remittances in the Republic of Moldova and impact of global economic crisis to their flows

Hlavním cílem této práce je popsat vývoj remitentních toků v Moldavsku a jejich změnu v souvislosti s globální ekonomickou krizí. Moldavská republika je typickým příkladem země závislé na remitencích proudících ze zahraničí. V minulých letech se Moldavsko objevilo mezi třemi největšími příjemci remitencí na světe v poměru k HDP. V dalších částech práce bude mimo jiné zmíněn současný stav remitencí v České republice a ve světě.The main goal of this thesis is to describe the development of remittance flows to the Republic of Moldova and summarize their change during the period of global economic crisis. Moldova is a typical example of country dependent on remittance inflows. In recent years Moldova became one of the countries with highest share of remittances on GDP. In the rest of the thesis also the present condition of global and Czech remittances will be presented
