En aquest treball s’apunta com a motiu del desenvolupament del tòpic biogràfic d’ateisme d’alguns filòsofs grecs antics, en especial a partir de les Vides de Diògenes Laerci, la interpretació popular de les seves peculiars formes expressives, segurament passades a través del drama.In this paper I argue that one cause for the development of the biographical patt ern of atheism in some ancient Greek philosophers, particularly from Diogenes Laertius’ Lives, could be a popular misunderstanding of their special expressive forms, probably through a dramatic interpretation
