Fachspezifische Suche nach elektronischen Zeitschriften : Ein webliographischer Streifzug am Beispiel der Informationswissenschaft

This paper presents and evaluates existing options for searching electronic journals in library and information science. It focuses on web-based collections of links and references (webliographies), and on e-journals available on the web that are listed by such sources. Both multidisciplinary and specialised listings from German- and English-speaking countries are reviewed. The author's survey reveals a surprisingly large number of web-based e-journals listed by these sources. However, the latter seem to operate without any co-ordination in the way they register and list the journals
