BENTUK MODIFIKASI DEIKSIS PERSONA PADA GENERASI MILENIAL (KAJIAN KESANTUNAN DAN IMPRESI)

Indonesian is one of the national identities that need to be preserved in its purity. The use of Indonesian in the millenial era is of little concern. This is because its use tends to be mixed using a foreign language. This study aims to identify and explain the modified persona deixis used by millennia’s as a means of language improvement, and identify aspects of politeness and impressions in the use of millennial deviation persona deixis. This study uses a multi-method approach so that the data obtained in the form of numbers and descriptions as well. The result is from 28 impressions namely Cin, Nduk, Le, Dude, Say, Ma'am, Non, Pah, Dik, Bang, Ma'am, Pak, Mas, Uncle, Aunty, Dad, Sis, Agan, Su, Ndul, Incess, Lur, Beb, Cuy, Coy, Bro, Sist, Gaes. The majority of millennial generations choose the greeting "Gaes / Guys". This study also showed 77.1% of respondents stated that other people used the greeting incorrectly and chose to ignore it. Most of them received calls that they did not like because of the familiarity, fairness, and politeness. Factors that influence politeness are not using abusive language, according to the age and gender of the speaking partner, using names, not offensive and not racial, in accordance with the customs and culture prevailing in the community, paying attention to speech intonation, not causing misunderstanding and bad assumptions, and are appropriate to be heard
