KEBIJAKAN DISTRIBUSI KECUKUPAN GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN PATI

ABTRACTThe distribution of adeqate teachers is very important to ensure in improving quality of education. The objectives of the research are: (1) to analyze the existing of teachers for public Junior High Schools in the study area; (2) to analyze the need of adequate teachers for public Junior High Schools; and (3) to analyze distribution of teachers for public Junior High Schools public Junior High Schools in the study area. This research uses descriptive-quantitative approach. There are 2 variables in the research namely: (1) existing teacher; (2) teacher adequacy; and (3) teacher distribution. Data collecting is conducted by using observation and interview. The analyzes of the research consist of descriptive analysis and comparative one. There are five findings in the research. Firstly, based on student, the existing teachers are adequate to meet the needs. Secondly, based on class, the existing of teachers are adequate to meet the needs. Thirdly, teacher distribusion among public Junior High Schools are unequal to meet the needs of adequate teachers.Fourthly, disparity of teacher distribusion based on student is low, it is indicated by Gini Index value 0,06. Fiftly, disparity of teacher distribusion based on class is low, it is indicated by Gini Index value 0,05. Keywords: distribution, Junior High School, teache
