Metods for acetamide determination in elvitegravir

Elvitegravir je inhibitor HIV-1 integraze koji se u kombinaciji s drugim lijekovima koristi za liječenje infekcije virusom humane imunodeficijencije (HIV). Inhibiranjem enzima integraze, elvitegravir smanjuje količinu HIV-a u tijelu, te spriječava njegovo daljnje razmnožavanje. Ispitivanje čistoće lijeka uključuje analitičke metode kojima je cilj detekcija, identifikacija, strukturna karakterizacija i kvantitativno određivanje onečišćenja. U ovom diplomskom radu razvijena je brza i učinkovita metoda tekućinske kromatografije ultravisoke djelotvornosti (UHPLC) za analizu acetamida u elvitegraviru. S obzirom da je acetamid molekula male molekulske mase, koristile su se tehnike tekućinske kromatografije ultravisoke djelotvornosti uz detekciju detektorom s nizom dioda (UHPLC-DAD) i trostrukim kvadrupolom (UHPLC-QQQ). Analysis of pharmaceutical impurities includes analytical procedures with aim to detect, identify, structurally characterize and quantify the impurity. In present study we developed fast and reliable method of ultra-high performance liquid chromatography for determination of acetamide in elvitegravir. Acetamide is a molecule of low molar mass, that is why we used the diode array detector (UHPLC-DAD) and triple quadrupole detector (UHPLC-QQQ). Methods developed in this research work are validated
