Evaluación de efluentes del camal municipal de la localidad de Bellavista

Technically the Animal sacrifice centers for human consumption or slaughterhouse have been defmed as a unit service of hygiene and public health. Many countries have already begun to address this problem and have begun the construction of modero facilities with special characteristics, whose purpose is to solve severa! problems by reducing maximum or suppression of the disadvantages inherent in the operations to realize. In many cases these centers of animal sacrifice does not have the technical and health conditions suitable for the development of the activity, which increases the risks of contamination of the products that every day are manipulated; inside this context by means of the present Monographic W ork, the evaluation had as general aim realize of effluent of the municipal halter of Bella vista locality of the San Martín region in order to determine the environmental impacts and possible effects to the Public Health of the city mainly as well as the environmental components and depending on it to raise corrective and 1 or preventive policies for the improvement of the provision of services and health of the city. The used methodology was based on the summary of the existing information and the check of the same one on the place. Since part of the obtained results establishes that the negative situation of the Municipal Halter of Bellavista province is owed principally to the current location ofthe existing halter (road to Bellavista income), the existing facilities do not have the appropriate infrastructure for the handling and treatment of red meats, suitability characteristics do not exist, it does not have a system of treatment of wastewater from the current slaughterhouse, causing in this way a contaminant for the population, the state of health of the wastewater is located in a negative situation, which is cast directly the Huallaga river. Finally it is needed to make lasting and operatively viable the implementation of all the measures of environmental managing before mentioned, it is necessary that the personnel of the Municipal Halter is conscious of the advantages that it represents to assume them adequately. The benefit will be for both the performance of their work and the place where they work, as for the improvement ofthe level of quality life ofthe inhabitants. Todo this, it should complement the program of integrated waste management module with a training and awareness to all the personnel working in the slaughterhouse. Between the contents, include the characteristics of implementation, operation and performance of each measure of management and/or treatment unit, the procedural details for the implementation of the program and its benefits in all the orders.Técnicamente los Centros de Sacrificio Animal para Consumo Humano o camal se han definido como una dependencia del servicio de higiene y de salud pública. Muchos países han comenzado a afrontar este problema y han iniciado la construcción de instalaciones modernas con características especiales, cuyo fin es resolver varios problemas mediante la disminución máxima o supresión de los inconvenientes inherentes a las operaciones a realizarse. En muchos de los casos dichos centros de sacrificio animal no cuentan con las condiciones técnicas y sanitarias adecuadas para el desarrollo de la actividad, lo que incrementa los riesgos por contaminación de los productos que diariamente se manipulan; dentro de ese contexto mediante el presente Trabajo Monográfico tuvo como objetivo general realizar la evaluación de efluentes del camal municipal de la localidad de Bellavista de la región San Martín a fin de determinar los impactos ambientales y posibles efectos a la Salud Pública de la ciudad principalmente así como de los componentes ambientales y en función de ello plantear medidas correctivas y/o preventivas para el mejoramiento de la prestación de servicios y salubridad de la ciudad. La metodología utilizada se basó en la recopilación de la información existente y la verificación de la misma en el lugar. Como parte de los resultados obtenidos se establece que la situación negativa del Camal Municipal de la provincia de Bellavista es debido principalmente a la ubicación actual del camal existente (carretera ingreso a bellavista), las instalaciones existentes no cuentan con la infraestructura adecuada para la manipulación y tratamiento de las carnes rojas, características de salubridad no existentes, no cuenta con un sistema de tratamiento de las aguas servidas provenientes del actual camal, ocasionando de esta manera un contaminante para la población, el estado de salubridad de las aguas servidas se encuentra en una situación negativa, la cual se arrojan directamente al río Huallaga. Finalmente se requiere para hacer perdurable y operativamente viable la implementación de todas las medidas de manejo ambiental previamente mencionadas, es necesario que el personal del Camal Municipal sea consciente de las ventajas que representa el asumirlas adecuadamente. El beneficio será tanto para el desempeño de sus labores y del lugar donde trabajan, como para el mejoramiento del nivel de calidad de vida de los habitantes. Para ello, se debe complementar el programa de manejo integral de residuos con un Iri6duÍó dé capacitaciort y concienciación dirigido a todo el personal que labora en el camal.
