Seven months before St. Luke\u27s congregation had received a Certificate of Occupancy and was able to move into the new facility that had been under construction for more than two years, it was decided to conduct a worship service celebrating the laying of the Foundation Stone in the narthex of the new facility. Worship services (8:15 and 10:45 am) were held in Founders Hall during the entire construction phase and only the officiants in the special ceremony were allowed to be in the newly-built space, since the CO had not yet been granted.
