ANALISIS KUALITAS PRODUK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIX SIGMA PADA PT. KUAT SEJATI PASURUAN

The purpose of this study 1) To find out and analyze the quality of products in accordance with standards 2) To find out and analyze the number of defective products 3) To find out and analyze the causes of product damage 4) To find out and analyze the target of defective products This type of research is a descriptive case study aims to describe efforts to improve product quality by using the Six Sigma Method. According to data collection techniques is a systematic and standardized procedure to obtain the required data, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The method used refers to the principles contained in the Six Sigma method. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The average defect is 5.328% of the total production of 13664000 units. The defect average defect is 3,370% of the total production of 808521. The company standard set by the company for this defect is 2%. Difference in percentage of defects in cracks with company standards that have been set at 1.370%, the results of the analysis of the initial sigma level for handicapped defects is 3.11. Sigma levels rise every year for a period of 12 years so that in the 12th year the level of Sigma defects is expected to reach a value of 6 sigma while for Crack defects, defects are not elbows and perforated defects in the production process are 3.72. The initial sigma level for the production process is 3.72. Sigma levels rise every year for a period of 12 years so that in the 12th year the level of defective sigma is not expected to reach a value of 6 sigma while for defects with holes, the initial sigma level is 3.36.
