As a naturalist writer, Zola strives to show, in Germinal, the real life of the workers and the working conditions of this social class. He fights the lights on the negative aspects of the workers' conditions. Work forms a source of human problems at that time. The struggle between the miners and their bosses begins because of misery and hateful life; it drives the workers to revolt against the bourgeois capitalist exploits the power of labor of the workers by usurping them to have money. In this research, we expose the fragile relationship between work and capital, the misery of the working class, the revolution of the poor against their bosses; all this reflects the socialist tendency of Zola
