Entrance Stairway Pose of Nurse's with Mable Eager Barnard

A photograph of twenty-five (probably student) nurses posing outside on the entrance stairway of a large building. The building is unknown, but consists of dark brick with vines clamoring up its walls. There is a dark wood double wide entrance door deep within the stairwell. A U.S. Mailbox also adorns the doorway. The nurses sit in a semi-uniform three row formation on the stairs and are all in full student nursing uniform, which consists of a full pin-strip semi-dark colored dress with a light colored apron tied around the waste. They wear nurse's caps and have their hair pulled on top of their heads. There are two exceptions, the nurse sitting left from direct center (front row) and the nurse sitting second from far right (also front row) who is identified as Mabel Eager. These nurses are wearing full light colored dresses and nurse's caps. Because of their difference in attire, these two nurses' may have a different position among the nurse's.This photograph is in good condition. The only flaws are the upper right corner has been torn off and a few stains on the actual photograph. The edges are free from tares and nicks. On the front is written, "Mabel Eager" in black marker on the nurse second from far right in the front row. On the back is written in pencil, "#2 1900-1919." In pen the number "5" is written and circled. The quality of the photograph is good. The nurse's are discernable and despite a few development blemishes in the foreground the photograph was well taken. The photograph has no information concerning its date of origin, nor the persons contained in the photograph
