Add to ORKGKarl Preece was born to Nephi and Sarah Preece April 24, 1892. He attended school at Uintah Academy and went to BYU. He married Lella McCoy on July 6, 1920. He was an educator for Uintah School District for 39 years, for which most of this time was principal. He was elected to the Utah State Legislature. He served as Bishop in the Ashley Ward. He died April 24, 1969
