Work began on the Tithing Office on the 11th of July, 1908. The cost of the building was $7000 and was paid by general church authorities. The building was located on the southeast corner of 100 West and 100 South. The building served as offices for the Stake Presidency and High Council of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the rooms were used by bishops of the wards and another room was used as the Tithing Office. The Vernal 4th Ward scouts along with their fathers took the building down in April of 1970.
